Geodesic Domes

More than 30 years ago I discovered the amazing world of geodesic domes. I was hooked. It has taken me until this last sum mer to get started (OK, so I procrastinate a little bit).

After a ton of sketches and model making, below is my first attempt at a dome. It in itself is a model actually, so it's p retty rough. But once I get up I'll be able to take better measurements and perhaps the next one will be a work of art.
